CPK was founded in 1989 by Chris and Patty Kontur, combining strong business leadership with deep expertise in carpentry, custom building, and construction management. What began as a small carpentry firm grew into a respected general contracting company known for craftsmanship, quality execution, and reliable partnerships. Patty built the operational foundation that supported this growth, helping shape CPK into the organized and dependable firm it is today.

As projects became more complex and capital-driven, CPK’s role naturally expanded beyond execution. Clients increasingly relied on our team for guidance, oversight, and strategic input—particularly when navigating the technical realities of development and construction. With the next generation now involved, CPK has evolved into a boutique consulting firm, bringing decades of hands-on experience to advisory engagements that protect capital, reduce risk, and support informed decision-making.
